I wanted an honest expert opinion on how to maintain my vehicle- I'm new in town and had anxiety after buying my first BMW used-2004 325xi-(by far the best ride I've ever owned.)
Wow- Josh took the time to break it down for me and his recommendations were spot on. I just got back from 400 mile trip and new axles made a great ride noticeably better -also the price was fair and I know the parts are quality. I came to know Josh via the BMW forums. My BMW was not working properly so I e-mailed Josh at the recommendation of fellow BMW owners. Several hours later, after he finished working, Josh went out of his way to come to my house to diagnose my car's problems. I was amazed that he took the time, at such short notice, to come and assist me. After Josh analyzed my car, he explained how certain parts work and why my car was not functioning properly in terms I could understand. I was now beyond amazed! People who know Josh trust him and have a high regard for his work.

In March of this year my car just stopped without any warning signs. I had it towed to a repair shop on Falls Rd. The owner told me that the engine was locked and it would cost me $6500.00 to repair it. He said it was not really worth it and offered me $450.00 for the 325i 2001 BMW with 71,00 miles on it. Well, I was flabergasted to say the least. The car was in very good condition. Fortunately a friend recommended that I have the people at Baltimore Bimmer look at the car. Josh really knows his stuff. Well, he was able to repair the car and explained exactly what was wrong with it and what caused the problem. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. Thank you Josh you are an expert in your field and extremely honest. I would recommend anyone who has a BMW to come to your shop.
I took my 2003 525i there last week. I'm happy to say that the problem I had with my AC belt pulley baron and tensioner is now gone.
What I appreciate most and the reason why I'm writing this feedback is because the Master Technician/Owner allowed me in to stay in the work area and observe my bimmer being repaired; from start to finish.
As an inquisitive woman, I try to learn as much as I can about my investment and they made that possible.

We recently had Josh service our 05 330ci and cannot stress how professional and knowledgeable he was. After visiting the local dealership 3 times, only to have them mis-diagnose our issue, Josh was able to correct it immediately. Being able to speak with him in detail about this and several other concerns we had was priceless. Seeing the parts replaced and the time spent fielding our questions is TRUE service you won't find from just any BMW Master Mechanic.

i was in panic when my m3 wouldnt start, after calming down and doing some online research i found baltimore bimmer. Its hard to find a quality mechanic to work on your bmw, so believe me there are even fewer whom i would let touch my M. I am writing this review to express my sincerest accolades to Josh. After experiencing numerous problems with my pre-owned BMW, I quickly grew tired of dealing with the service center at the dealership. Every repair, no matter how minor, ended up being expensive due to outlandish labor fees. When I began experiencing transmission problems, I grew panicked with the thought of bringing my car back to the dealership.
As I was searching online for alternate options, I was fortunate enough to come across Josh’s “Baltimore-Bimmer” website. After reading the rave reviews other customers had left, I felt comfortable contacting him. Josh proved to live up to his outstanding reputation. He told me to bring the car to his shop right away. When I got there, I was astounded by his vast knowledge of BMW’s. He completed a thorough assessment of my vehicle, which included him explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to comprehend. Josh actually showed me the outputs on the computer and walked me through the steps he took to diagnose the problem. Instead of jumping to the most expensive repair option, he gave me numerous choices on how to proceed. I left feeling relieved that I had found “my” new mechanic.
The following day, as luck would have it, my car broke down while I was at work. I called Josh immediately and he assured me that he would take care of it. Josh was extremely accommodating- he traveled all the way to Catonsville so that I wouldn’t have to tow my car. He was able to diagnose the problem instantaneously. I was awed when he climbed under the car, gave it a swift punch, and it started. He contacted me the next day and indicated that he ordered the needed part and would install it at my convenience.

I have never met a nicer bmw mechanic! He is the ONLY honesy repair man I have ran into. I found his ad after my 540i wouldn't start he came to me and had my car fixed in a matter of a minutes and knew what the problem was before he even came. With me being someone who does not know anything about cars I would have been ripped off by a dealer with un-needed repairs but he was honest, quick, and overly fair in price I will never drive another car now that I know I have someone like him to do my repairs
i sent Josh an email on a friday night after I was stranded at Towson Mall and managed to make it back to baltimore without a tow bill due to a failing alternator. Josh responded back to my email Saturday morning and helped me get a new part. On Sunday he drove to my house in Baltimore and had the alternator out before i could even walk .2 of a mile to starbucks. His customer service and knowledge was outstanding and i think you would be making a mistake to take your can anywhere else. Keep up the great work!
Josh is the man and above all he is HONEST. He fixed our 2001 X5's nagging rear tail light problem in 30 mins for an extremely reasonable fee. He also took care of a few other small things at no charge. I finally found a second honest auto mechanic and this one works on BMWs exlusively!
