Who is Joshua and what is he doing?

Baltimore Bimmer is the newest independent shop in Baltimore specializing in BMW repair. It was started by a man with a vision. Joshua wanted to provide BMW owners with an inexpensive alternative to the local dealerships. It can Be quite difficult to find a reliable BMW mechanic because although some independent repair shops claim that they can repair your BMW, most get in way over their head because BMWs are designed to break when tampered with by an inexperienced technician.

Baltimore Bimmer is different because not only do we know what we’re doing, we have the certifications to prove it. Joshua is a BMW STEP (Service Technician Excellence Program) graduate. After 7 Years at the dealership he took it upon himself to partner up with the CITGO gas station up the road from his home and make it the hub of his operations. Although he is new to business he has the passion and drive needed for success. His main focus is customer relations. “I remember a time when I was a young boy and my grandmother took me to the local gas station in Parkville. The mechanics were great and they would show me what they were doing. I always loved cars and when I grew up and I went to BMW STEP I was hooked on BMW.”

Any BMW owner knows what it is to drive a BMW. It is more than a car ride. It is the thrill of the connection to the road that no other manufacturer can duplicate. It is more than a drive to work. Every key turn is the start to an adventure. “You find yourself taking the back roads. The more twists and turns the better. You make sure your radar detector is on and loud as you get heavier on the throttle.”

Not every mechanic has had the pleasure of working solely on BMW. “BMW is one of those cars that are built like no other. BMW is on the forefront of current technology. Take for instance the 2002 745i. “That car has 40 some computers on 5 different networks and 2 of the networks are fiber optics.” The engine not only has variable valve timing, common on some high end cars, but it has variable valve lift. The N62B44 was the most technologically advanced production engine when it started production in late 2001 and no car that I have seen yet has duplicated it’s technology. Now BMW is breaking the mold again by twin turbo charging their V12. The new V12 has 544 bhp and 553 ft/lbs of torque! It’s a monster.

No matter how far the technology goes Baltimore Bimmer plans on staying on top of it. By utilizing the Group Tester 1 (GT-1) BMW factory scan tool and the Software Service Station Joshua can repair any BMW, even the new F-01. There has never been a better time to service your BMW than right now. Prices are low and work is performed right the first time. What are you waiting for? Call Joshua Today!
